About The Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure the level of clinical care we offer exceeds professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. You’ll provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervise and coach colleagues to deliver unparalleled empathy for resident issues.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist nursing support and advice.
* Take responsibility for resident care while the Home Manager is absent.
* Supervise and coach colleagues to maintain high quality, empathic care.
* Maintain accurate and meaningful records.
* Communicate with residents and co‑workers in a considerate and kind manner.
* Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and report concerns appropriately.
* Attend safeguarding training and seek advice when necessary.
About You
You hold a valid NMC Pin, have knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice, and have experience in person‑centred care planning within a care home. You possess strong mentoring skills, time management, and a positive, collaborative attitude. You value kindness and are able to communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate, kind manner.
