Job Description

Knights is a listed, UK based legal and professional services business, operating from 32 locations nationwide.

For more than a decade, we have done things differently. In 2012, we established our platform as one of the first law firms to transition from a traditional partnership model to a corporate structure.

We work with a diverse range of clients, including global brands, FTSE 100 companies, private businesses, and individuals, to deliver professional services with speed, accessibility, and clear communication.

Senior People Services Co-ordinator

Join our growing People Services team. As a Senior People Services Co-ordinator at Knights, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of a high-performing People Services Helpdesk team, working alongside our HR, Learning & Development, Recruitment and Knowledge teams which together form People Services.

Reporting directly to the Group HR Counsel, you will play a crucial role in responding to operational requests, managing communications and helping to ensure consistency, efficiency and professionalism in all aspects of support. Working closely with a small team you will take shared responsibility for leading day-to-day service delivery, co-ordinating work allocation, and ensuring the consistent application of processes and policies across the team.

With prior experience in a fast-paced, professional environment, you will combine exceptional administrative capability with leadership, strong communication, and a focus on continuous improvement. You will act as a go-to person within the team, support coaching and mentoring of co-ordinator colleagues, and help embed a consistent and collaborative approach to our People Services administration across the business.

This is a key opportunity to help shape the delivery of our People Services in a supportive and fast-evolving business, where autonomy, clarity and care are valued every day.

Key responsibilities

* Team leadership – Support the day-to-day coordination and oversight of work within the People Services team, providing guidance, support and mentoring to less experienced team members.
* Service delivery – Oversee the effective administration of key HR and Learning & Development processes, ensuring that service standards are consistently met across all tasks and projects.
* Systems oversight – Support the maintenance and improvement of our HR and Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring accuracy, usability and effective reporting.
* Training co-ordination – Supporting the planning, scheduling and monitoring of internal training sessions via the LMS, ensuring mandatory training is completed and records are maintained.
* Stakeholder engagement – Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders across People, Finance, Business Services and IT, ensuring aligned and effective operational delivery.
* Work allocation and planning – Help manage shared inboxes, calendars and team task lists, prioritising work effectively and ensuring key milestones are met.
* Process improvement – Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and templates, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
* Project involvement – Support and lead on administrative elements of People projects such as onboarding, engagement, policy updates and acquisition integration.
* Data and reporting – Take responsibility for the production of accurate and timely reports to support audit, compliance and business intelligence.
* Confidentiality and compliance – Handle sensitive information with the utmost care and professionalism, maintaining trust and adherence to all data protection and privacy standards.

What you will bring to the role

You’ll bring a blend of strong organisational and administrative skills, a calm and confident approach to team coordination, and a positive mindset that supports others to succeed. You will thrive in a fast-paced setting and take pride in delivering consistently high standards.

* Leadership – Experience supporting or leading others in an administrative team, with a collaborative approach and natural confidence.
* Organisation – Excellent planning, prioritisation and coordination skills, with the ability to handle a busy and varied workload.
* Attention to detail – A high level of accuracy and consistency, with strong proofing and data management skills.
* Systems confidence – Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel), with prior experience using HRIS or LMS platforms.
* Communication – Professional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise at all levels and represent the team well.
* Proactivity – A solutions-focused mindset, always looking for ways to improve service and simplify process.
* Team ethos – A natural team player with a supportive and respectful approach to colleagues.
* Adaptability – Ability to remain flexible and calm when priorities shift or pace increases.
* Confidentiality – Strong understanding of handling personal and sensitive data with care.
* Commitment to quality – Pride in the quality of work delivered, and a drive to support the success of the wider People Services function.
