You'll lead a world-class pharmacy operations function that is efficient, compliant, and patient-focused, leveraging technology to enable a rapid online pharmacy model. This is a high-growth, non steady-state role focused on scaling teams, optimising workflows, and delivering speed, quality, and safety at scale in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities
* Design and deliver the operational strategy to scale pharmacy safely and efficiently against aggressive growth targets.
* Build and optimise workflows, automation, and systems that minimise manual friction and maximise throughput.
* Scale cross-functional pharmacy teams to 100+ FTEs in the next 6-9 months.
* Define and own KPIs, SLAs, and dashboards to track productivity and ensure we hit speed, quality, and compliance goals.
* Constantly raise standards for service delivery, safety, and patient care.
* Partner with leadership to unlock revenue and patient acquisition through operational readiness.
* Anticipate and remove bottlenecks before they slow us down.
* Deliver high-velocity fulfilment and customer care in a digital-first, e-commerce pharmacy model.
* Support rapid launches of new products and services.
* Recruit, structure, and mentor a high-performing, target-driven team.
* Build strong team leads to manage daily operations and quality assurance.
* Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Balance growth with compliance for controlled drugs, including CBPMs and Schedule 2.
* Work with commercial teams to optimise stock levels, reduce wastage, and protect margins.
* Safeguard full compliance with GPhC regulations and controlled drug legislation.
* Partner with the Medical Director and Superintendent to keep patient safety front and centre.
* Lead the prep for audits, regulatory reviews, and risk assessments.
* Be the operational heartbeat across leadership, regulators, suppliers, and tech partners.
* Shape big-picture decisions on service expansion, infrastructure, and growth strategy.
* Experience leading large-scale operations in fast-growth, logistics or consumer environments.
* Proven track record of scaling operational teams (50-100+ FTEs).
* Commercial acumen and hands-on experience driving KPIs in a target-led environment.
* Ability to streamline processes, boost performance, and deliver on ambitious growth.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a bias for action.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in online pharmacy or digital healthcare is a bonus.
* E-commerce operations experience (Shopify or equivalent) is a bonus.
* Familiarity with medicinal cannabis, CBPMs, or special medicines is desirable.
* Pharmacy degree (BPharm/MPharm) or other clinical background is desirable.
