We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse and Stores Operative to join our friendly and thriving client based in Hoddesdon. The role is a full-time permanent position working from 7am – 4pm, Monday – Friday with a 45-minute break. This is a hands-on role within a small, supportive team, offering long-term stability and progression and offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000, depending on experience plus company bonus scheme after probationary period. Candidates should have previous warehouse experience and be able to move heavy items within the warehouse. Forklift Licence a big advantage, but not essential as training can be provided. Duties include: Working within a small team, carrying out all warehousing duties including, but not limited to: * Receiving, checking and unloading deliveries * Inspecting goods for damage and reporting any issues * Accurately picking and packing orders in line with instructions * Preparing goods for dispatch and loading vehicles as required * Small amount of operating warehouse equipment such as Forklift Truck (Bendi Truck) * Stock control including counting and rotating stock * Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment * Following all health & safety procedures and company policies * Sending e-mails and speaking to clients to book in and schedule deliveries * Supporting other warehouse tasks as required by management Skills & Experience: * Good attention to detail and accuracy * Warehouse experience * Ability to work as part of a team and independently * Good time management and organisational skills * Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks * Basic IT skills * Excellent customer service skills * Forklift licence (Bendi Truck) a big advantage * Experience using warehouse management systems
