Co-Curricular Activity & Travel Administrator
Full Time, Term Time plus 3 weeks

The Co-Curricular Activity and Travel Administrator serves as the primary contact for co-curricular administration, supporting parents and staff. Effective management of additional activities and individual lessons for pupil is also a key aspect of this role, ensuring resources and opportunities are allocated efficiently to benefit students and programs. This role coordinates extra lessons each week, collaborates across departments, and assists both department administrators and the First Deputy to ensure smooth co-curricular activities and travel operations. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills are essential.
In addition to daily coordination, the administrator is responsible for developing efficient procedures for scheduling, communicating with external partners, and resolving logistical challenges related to student activities and trips. The position requires proactive problem-solving, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where students can explore a variety of interests beyond the classroom. Consistent support and clear communication within the school community are critical, as is the ability to respond effectively to changing circumstances and priorities.
Working Hours:
This is a term time position plus 3 weeks during the school holidays, (37.5 hours per week), Term begins on the day of the full staff meeting (INSET) which you are expected to attend.
Salary:
The Full Time Equivalent for this role is £31,111 per annum with actual salary for this term time plus role being £24,592.38 per annum.

Benenden is one of the leading day and boarding schools in Britain. We were founded in 1923 and are situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 550 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with approximately 180 of those in the Sixth Form. Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School's leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are for staff to use, when available.
