Site EngineerLocation: DagenhamAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Site Engineer to join our service team in Dagenham, responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll be a key technical representative on site, ensuring equipment reliability and excellent service delivery. You'll also support the Area Service Manager, acting as a first point of contact for defined support activities within the service team and helping to maintain strong customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventative maintenance on materials handling and ancillary equipmentDiagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safelyAccurately complete service reports and timesheetsManage and control parts stock on siteBuild effective customer relationships through clear communication, ensuring expectations are met in line with contractual agreementsLiaise closely with the After Sales Office to provide customers with accurate repair updates and ETAsIdentify and communicate chargeable follow-up work, completing it in a timely mannerEnsure all company and customer health & safety procedures are strictly followedIdentify and pass on sales leads for Jungheinrich equipment and After Sales productsAct as a Company Ambassador at all timesYou may occasionally be required to participate in call-out duties and work outside normal hours, as directed by the Area Service Manager.About YouWe're keen to hear from mechanically and/or electrically biased engineers from a wide range of maintenance or service backgrounds, including:Automotive TechniciansHGV EngineersMobile Plant EngineersForklift EngineersEx-Forces / Military Vehicle EngineersYou will also have:A full UK driving licenceA good general level of educationExperience in a customer-facing roleThe ability to work independently and unsupervisedA proactive, professional approach with strong problem-solving skillsGuidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
