Job Summary
Are you a self‑starter looking to join one of London’s leading mental health charities? We are looking for a dedicated CWP (Child’s Wellbeing Practitioner) trainee to join our Mental Health Support Team at West Central London Mind.
In this role you will train to deliver low‑intensity, evidence‑based interventions to support children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties such as anxiety or low mood.
Main Duties
* Provide early‑intervention CBT‑based support to children and young people in schools and colleges presenting with anxiety and depression.
* Work closely with other services and our WCL Mind staff team.
* Provide culturally responsive care, using interpreters when necessary.
You Are
* Skilled and knowledgeable in basic principles of CBT.
* Passionate about supporting and empowering young people.
* Able to work collaboratively within a team.
* Have diverse life experience.
* Effective communicator, tailoring communication to each client.
* Reflective and adaptive.
* Organised with strong diary management and administrative skills.
