Are you an outstanding Systemic and Family Psychotherapist with a passion for delivering high quality care? Cygnet Bury Forestwood are looking for a Family Therapist to join our CAMHS service on a part‑time, 20 hr per week basis.

We need a dedicated, compassionate Family Therapist with excellent clinical and people skills. Experience of working with young people with an eating disorder, or a strong interest in this area, is required.
Role Summary
To provide high‑quality family therapist input to the CAMHS wards across Cygnet Forestwood. This will include providing specialist family‑therapy assessment, formulation and therapy to service users and their families as well as being an active participant of ward teams, offering a key systemic perspective. You will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the department’s policies and procedures, manage your own caseload, and utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development.
Your Day‑to‑Day
* Conduct systemic/family therapy assessments of service users (and their families) while they are admitted to a CAMHS ward within Forestwood, including families with a young person with an eating disorder.
* Effectively manage own caseload and prioritise workload in discussion with line manager.
* Complete formulations based on these assessments to direct further family‑therapy intervention.
* Plan, implement and evaluate family‑therapy intervention.
* Work in collaboration with the ward psychology team, as well as the rest of the MDT, to ensure formulations are shared across the care team.
* Contribute to risk assessment and risk‑management processes in collaboration with other professionals.
We Are Looking for Someone Who Is…
* Masters degree qualified in Family Therapy.
* AFT & UKCP registered or equivalent.
* Experienced in working with complex family dynamics and high levels of risk.
* Skilled in clinical governance, auditing and clinical supervision.
* Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental‑health needs.
