One Call Insurance was founded in 1995 by John Radford. From our offices in Doncaster, we expanded to other areas of South Yorkshire, offering home and car insurance quotes to people in the area. We now offer the whole of the UK great car insurance quotes, as well as home insurance, van insurance, commercial insurance, temporary insurance, learner driver insurance, and travel insurance. We also support local charities such as Firefly, Bluebell Wood, and Eve Merton Dreams Trust.
Training and Development
Further training in other departments is available. We provide full training within various areas and continuous support to ensure our teams offer a welcoming and friendly environment, helping you succeed and thrive within the business.
Key Duties
1. Handling telephone enquiries within the call centre.
2. Administering customers' files correctly while building genuine rapport.
3. Performing general administration regarding calls and policies.
4. Ensuring all activities comply with FCA guidelines.
5. Achieving and maintaining targets and SPI’s, including audit averages, reviews, complaints, CPD logs, and errors. Must not fail three days in a row.
6. Applying correct actions on consumers' files based on policy types to prevent repeat calls.
7. Offering mid-term adjustment quotes and processing these, ensuring proper account updates.
8. Documenting all actions taken on each file clearly for colleagues.
9. Cross-selling products such as legal, breakdown, excess reducer, total loss top-up, HPI, and tools in transit, ensuring proper account management and note-taking.

Insurance Practitioner Level 3 Apprenticeship

Working Hours
Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 with a 1-hour lunch. Late shifts may be required, working 11:30 - 20:00 with a 1-hour lunch depending on the department.
