The Accountant / Finance Business Partner post will work within a commercially focused team to provide financial advice and support across dedicated directorates and transformational projects across the Council.
Responsibilities include;
* Delivering high-quality, efficient financial, accounting and budgeting services to support the Council and key service areas
* Supporting with and leading on the delivery of medium-term financial planning
* Providing strategic analysis and financial advice to stakeholders across the Council
* Producing and presenting monthly management accounts, identifying key trends and making recommendations
* Supporting the delivery of an integrated, robust financial planning process
The successful candidate;
* Strong business partnering skillset with the ability to build influential relationships with non-finance
