Duties:
* Classroom teaching and tutorial work.
* Organisational and administrative tasks, including preparation, marking, and student welfare and academic counselling.
* Contributing to the team approach to learning and teaching.
* Implementing a student-centred, negotiated learning programme in line with the College’s curriculum framework.
* Communicating clear expectations to students at each stage of their programme and ensuring they understand the programme details during reviews.
* Setting, assessing, and providing feedback on assignments, tasks, and activities to support student development and progression.
Skills/Experience:
* Experience in crocheting.
* Effective communication skills with diverse age groups and backgrounds.
* Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
* Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
* Open-mindedness towards different cultures, views, and experiences, valuing diversity.
* Previous teaching experience or experience supporting apprentices in the workplace.
Qualifications:
* Level 3 Award in Education and Training (desirable).
