Job Overview
Lead Consultant (Job Coaching) based in Aberdeen, with some travel throughout Scotland. Reporting to the Development Manager (Grampian), you will help expand VIAS’s impact, support people with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergence in gaining and sustaining paid employment, and grow the organisation’s commitment to supported employment.
Responsibilities
* Support individuals with learning disabilities and neurodivergence to gain and sustain paid employment.
* Create and implement personalised development plans and detailed employment profiles.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, employers and service users to build and nurture successful partnerships.
* Plan, analyse and address workplace issues, prioritise tasks and deliver a varied work programme.
* Manage a range of tasks autonomously, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
Qualifications
* Mentor‑like attitude, passion for supporting others, and strong communication and critical‑thinking skills.
* Proven experience in job coaching with people with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergence.
* Strong administrative skills, willingness to learn new systems and build detailed profiles.
* Understanding of work‑related issues affecting individuals with learning disabilities and neurodivergence.
* Ability to multi‑task, work autonomously in Aberdeen and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* High‑level planning and analytical thinking.
