Senior Occupational Therapist role across four complex care services in West Yorkshire. Location: multiservice across Ravensdale Care Home (Leeds), Copperfields Care Home (Leeds), Hillside Court Care Home (Leeds) and Wykewood Care Home (Bradford). Contract type: Full time – Monday to Friday. Rate: £40,000 per annum.
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a positive and can-do attitude? Join us as our new Senior Occupational Therapist working across four complex care services in West Yorkshire. As a Senior Occupational Therapist with us, you’ll support our residents with a high-quality occupational therapy service throughout their journey with us. You’ll empower residents and maximise their independence.
You’ll lead and supervise Junior Therapists or Therapy Assistants across the homes you support to ensure delivery of evidence-based, high quality therapy and rehabilitation. You’ll build relationships with the people you support and see their progress through ongoing care, which is extremely rewarding.
Responsibilities
* Be responsible for a clinical caseload.
* Work alongside the people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions.
* Collaborate closely with the Therapy Team (Physiotherapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators).
* Carry out assessments.
* Maintain accurate records for people receiving occupational therapies.
* Promote choice, dignity and independence.

About The Role
Our Occupational Therapists provide specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions to help people overcome the challenges they face with completing everyday tasks and activities. You’ll work as part of a wider Clinical Team to create person-centred care and rehabilitation plans that maintain and build people’s abilities, support them to achieve their goals and evaluate their outcomes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
* Managing a clinical caseload.
* Working with the people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions.
* Collaborating with the Therapy Team (Physiotherapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators).

You’ll put people at the heart of everything you do. To apply for this role, you must have a BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered.
