SEND Teaching Assistant Required – Saltburn
A welcoming school in Saltburn is looking to appoint a dedicated and nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This role involves providing 1:1 support for a child with both EAL (English as an Additional Language) and SEND needs within an Early Years setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the child’s development, helping to build their confidence, communication skills, and engagement in learning.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience working within Early Years settings
* Have a strong understanding of SEND and EAL support strategies
* Be proactive and confident using their own initiative
* Be able to create engaging resources tailored to the child’s needs
* Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
* Support the child’s social, emotional, and educational development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
