I’m partnering with a UK-based technical consultancy that designs and builds custom software platforms for clients across transport, infrastructure, and operations.
They develop everything in-house and are now looking for an Android Engineer to strengthen their core delivery team. It’s a hands-on role with genuine ownership, an opportunity join a small, experienced delivery team. You’ll have real ownership and contribute to software used in production from day one in a team where ideas are valued, shared, and acted upon where of benefit.
What you’ll do
* Design, build and maintain Android applications
* Integrate with a Python/Django backend via RESTful APIs
* Contribute to mobile architecture and Android best-practice standards
* Collaborate with backend engineers and stakeholders to deliver features end to end
Essential experience (must-haves)
* Kotlin and/or Java for Android development
* Android SDK and Android Studio
* MVVM or MVP architecture
* RESTful API integration, including Python/Django backends

Salary: £45 – £60k
