A local authority in the East Midlands is seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer for an initial period of three months initially. The role is to start ASAP ideally before Christmas, however, for the right candidate they can wait until early January 2026. The local authority is seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer with experience of handling a full and complex caseload to include Care Act matters, no recourse to public funds, ordinary residence, mental capacity, age assessments etc. They require someone with experience in this field with the ability to pick up a caseload without the need for supervision. To apply for the role, you must be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX with litigation rights and a practising certificate. Pay rate: £27-50 per hour.
