AJT Installs are a fast growing, nationwide auto electrical installation company specialising in vehicle safety systems, cameras, AI solutions, telematics and fleet technology.
We operate a team of mobile engineers across the UK and pride ourselves on high standards, strong organisation, and professional customer service.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Scheduling Coordinator to take ownership of engineer planning and customer bookings.
This is a key operational role within the business.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing engineer diaries and ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently, profitably and professionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Scheduling daily and weekly jobs for mobile engineers
* Contacting customers to arrange and confirm appointments
* Managing cancellations, urgent bookings and diary changes
* Allocating jobs based on engineer skill set, location and workload
* Monitoring diary gaps and reporting availability to management
* Communicating with engineers throughout the day for updates
* Ensuring all job details are accurately entered into our systems
* Supporting smooth operational workflow across the office team
You will play a major part in keeping engineers productive and maintaining high service levels for customers.
Essential Experience & Skills
* Experience in scheduling, coordination, administration or customer service in a busy environment
* Confident communication via phone and email
* Experience using CRM systems, booking platforms or job management software
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft office, email, calendars, data entry)
* Excellent organisation and multitasking ability
* High attention to detail
* Strong problem solving mindset
* Calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively
* Good geographical awareness for routing and planning
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (But Not Essential)
* Experience coordinating field engineers or tradespeople
* Experience in installations, construction, facilities or service sectors
* Familiarity with route planning or dispatch systems
* Experience handling service escalations or complaints
* Full UK driving licence
