Short Summary
Our Associate Integration Engineers work alongside our Integration Engineers to ensure that our products work effectively in collaboration with our customers’ other systems.
Key Responsibilities of the role
* Configuring and deploying integration capabilities connecting Magentus products and services with other systems such as PAS, PACS, and Order Communications
* Investigating, troubleshooting, problem analysis and resolution within live deployments
* Providing third line customer support in close collaboration with the Service team
* Building effective relationships with co-workers, customers and other stakeholders
* Maintaining technical specifications and solution documentation
* Working to defined standards and processes while maintaining an ethos of continual improvement
* Taking responsibility for technical quality and timely delivery of own work
* Continual learning and development, developing own in‑depth knowledge & skills while building and consolidating experience with a wide range of Integration solutions
* Supporting colleagues and contributing well into team responsibilities such as managing code assets, standardizing & automating deployments, and documentation
* Provide backup and assistance to the on‑call rota when required.
* Other duties as required.
What experience do I need
* Good general knowledge of IT, gained through higher education and/or through learning & development in previous roles. Relevant areas of knowledge include awareness of DevOps and Agile principles; security principles & practice; containerization and Cloud deployment.
* Hands‑on experience in a technical role such as in a service desk environment troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, or a supporting role in a software development team.
* Health sector experience highly desirable, including familiarity with how clinical systems are connected using integration technologies such as HL7v2 messaging, DICOM, XDS and Web APIs. Specific knowledge of Radiology systems or the NextGen Mirth integration engine is also desirable.
* Able to handle complexity and ambiguity and accommodate to change
* Able to learn independently and continually develop own knowledge and expertise
