The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing installation and commissioning team.
This is a field-based role involving the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of heavy plant machinery at customer sites throughout the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation and commissioning of heavy plant machinery
* Service, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment
* Fault finding and troubleshooting on customer sites
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Supporting testing and commissioning activities
* Completing service reports and handover documentation
* Working closely with site teams and customers
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
About You
* Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, or similar
* Background within heavy plant, quarrying, recycling, construction, or industrial machinery
* Strong mechanical fitting and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently on customer sites
* Good communication and problem-solving abilities
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Willingness to travel across the UK and overseas
Desirable Experience
* Crushers, conveyors, screeners, or material handling equipment
* Hydraulics and pneumatics
* Site installation and commissioning
* Welding or fabrication experience
* CSCS, IPAF, or similar certifications
