Finance Operations Assistant – Contract (Inside IR35)
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Operations Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong finance administration and operational support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and ensuring financial processes run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support day-to-day finance operations activities across the business
* Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner
* Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities
* Experience with Purchase and Sales Ledger
* Reconcile financial transactions and investigate discrepancies
* Maintain and update financial records, systems, and databases
* Support month-end and reporting activities
* Monitor and track payment statuses and supplier queries
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding finance-related matters
* Ensure adherence to financial procedures, controls, and compliance requirements
* Provide general administrative support to the wider finance team
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a finance administration, finance assistant, or finance operations role
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
* Good understanding of finance processes including invoicing, reconciliations, and payment handling
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems/ERP platforms
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* AAT qualification or finance-related degree (essential)
