Wants to influence decisions that impact thousands of policyholders and ensure fairness and transparency. A bit about the job We're looking for an Actuary to join our With-Profits Governance team. Our purpose is to make sure with-profits customers are treated fairly and funds are managed responsibly. You'll work closely with the With-Profits Actuary and become part of a team that's the go-to expert for with-profits. Together, we review proposals, monitor compliance, and help shape how we communicate with customers. Your work will directly influence how we deliver on our promise of fairness and transparency. Key accountabilities Review bonus proposals to make sure pay-outs are fair for all customers. Check compliance with Principles and Practices of Financial Management (PPFM), Court Scheme and Management Services Agreement. Help produce run-off plans and assess when sub-funds should close. Support clear and accurate customer communications about with-profits. Analyse data to ensure Consumer Duty requirements are met. Skills and experience we're looking for: Qualified Actuary (FIA/FFA) or nearly/newly qualified (we will also consider candidates well through exams or with strong with-profits experience who have paused exams). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to challenge and validate assumptions. PPFM working experience and understanding of life insurance products. Knowledge of financial projections and run-off planning (preferred). Aviva-specific with-profits knowledge is not essential-we provide a structured training and learning plan.
