About The Role
The Project Management team is made up of our Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and Project Management functions within Professional Services and are collectively responsible for all aspects of delivery and governance.
The PMO Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall effectiveness of the Project Management function and for appropriately governing their Professional Services projects and enabling consistent, successful, and profitable project delivery.
Role Requirements
* Serving as a coach and mentor for Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Coordinators within the team.
* Conduct weekly 'work in progress' meetings to assess project milestone timelines, facilitating precise revenue projections.
* Assign Project Management resources to various projects, ensuring that the team maintains an 80% billable utilization rate.
* Ensure compliance with Project Management KPIs and provide reports to the Executive Team.
* Ensure that best practice governance is implemented consistently throughout the project lifecycle, including the adoption of Portfolio Management Office (PMO) artifacts and processes.
* Collaborate with the PMO to establish optimal Project Management procedures and templates aimed at enhancing the delivery experience.
Experience
* Five years of project management experience, demonstrating the ability to govern, plan, control, monitor, report, and manage teams independently without close supervision or guidance.
* Demonstrating the establishment and maintenance of relationships with third-party suppliers
* Team management/ leadership experience
* Delivery of complex, multi-technology projects and programmes.
* Actively assisting teams in creating such artefacts to a high-quality standard – recognised as the project subject matter expert.
