Key Responsibilities: Legal Document Preparation Draft standard and complex wills (incl. trusts, business/farm matters) Prepare LPAs for property, finance, health, and welfare Review and update existing wills and legal documents Implement trusts and draft related documents (e.g. deeds of appointment) Estate Administration Apply for probate or letters of administration Manage asset collection, valuation, debt settlement, and distribution Handle tax compliance (IHT, CGT, income tax) Keep accurate estate records Client Advice & Support Conduct client meetings and provide tailored estate planning advice Advise on inheritance tax planning and deeds of variation Communicate with empathy, especially in sensitive situations Compliance & Development Follow SRA, Lexcel, CQS, and regulatory standards Ensure confidentiality and use legal tech efficiently Maintain CPD and stay current with legal updates Business Growth & Representation Support marketing, networking, and client development Represent the firm at events and contribute to departmental growth Key Requirements: Qualified Solicitor with experience in Wills and Probate 4 years PQE Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Client-focused approach with a high level of empathy and professionalism Ability to manage time effectively and work independently Willingness to travel between office locations and to client premises What’s on Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package A positive, supportive working environment Opportunities for professional development and career progression Flexible working options and a healthy work-life balance If you are interested in joining Legal 500 firms Private Client firm, apply now!
