Job Overview
Join Crown Street Surgery as a salaried GP in Acton. 4 partner surgery caring for 10,500 patients with excellent transport links and onsite parking. Offer a 12‑month fixed‑term contract with a part‑time pattern of 4‑8 sessions per week, starting before September 2026.
Key Responsibilities Conduct routine morning clinics (09:30‑12:30) of up to 15 patients.
Conduct routine afternoon clinics (14:30‑17:00) of up to 15 patients.
Participate in duty rota (minimum 2 sessions per week, at least one afternoon).
Handle urgent triage, e‑consults and clinical queries during duty.
Complete home visits only when the paramedic is unavailable; allocated via rota.
Share clinical administrative tasks on a pro‑rata basis (documents, prescriptions, results).
Support educational activities (tutor, teaching, CPD) and participate in audits and quality improvement.
Contribute to QOF, local enhanced services, Ealing Standards and flu clinics.
Clinical Sessions Details
Morning clinics: up to 15 patients per session. Afternoon clinics: up to 15 patients per session. Duty sessions: morning 08:30‑13:30 and afternoon 13:30‑18:30. Duty includes triage, email review and limited home visits.
Teaching, Education & CPD
Participate in tutorials, teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate trainees, monthly team meetings and continue professional development. CPD time includes governance sessions, half‑day closures and audit work.
Additional Responsibilities
Complete audits, provide audit reports, support supervisors and engage in projects that improve practice processes.
Qualifications & Experience Full GMC registration with license to practice.
Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent.
Inclusion on NHS England Performers List.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience working in a GP practice.
Experience with SystmOne clinical software.
