This role is ideal for Registered Nurses (RGN) and Paramedics with a minimum of three years post registration experience who want to apply their clinical skills in a dynamic and purpose driven environment. Working in police custody suites, you’ll provide medical assessments and emergency care, support people through withdrawal, assess mental health needs, and carry out forensic procedures. You’ll also collect evidential samples and contribute to safeguarding decisions. No previous forensic experience? That’s absolutely fine. We provide full accredited training to help you become a qualified Forensic Practitioner. This is a bank position offering flexibility and shift patterns that fit around your life. You’ll be working a predictable 4 on 4 off pattern, with two day shifts followed by two night shifts.
