Water Resources Manager – 32733 (Environment Agency)
Overview
We are looking for a senior leader to manage water resources and lead a department of over 70 technical experts within Operations Catchment Services.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert input to the National Framework for Water Resources.
* Manage programmes to deliver sustainable abstraction.
* Lead drought planning and drought management initiatives.
* Develop talent and skills within water planning.
* Drive national modelling for water resources and groundwater.
* Champion health, safety, and wellbeing; foster inclusion; support people development.
* Lead the operational delivery of services ensuring efficient use of resources and performance measurement.
* Participate in the Operations Catchment Services Leadership Team.
