Join to apply for the NHSL 222808 Specialist Orthoptist (LI) role at NHS Lothian.
This is a full-time, fixed-term (12 months) position within the Orthoptic Service at NHS Lothian, based mainly in two acute hospital settings in Edinburgh.
The role involves working alongside the wider ophthalmology team, including consultants and community paediatricians, in various clinics such as general orthoptic, complex paediatric, neuro-ophthalmology, and joint clinics. The post also includes involvement in the 'See for School' pre-school vision screening service.
Applicants must have a diploma/degree in Orthoptics, current HCPC registration, and excellent communication skills. Previous teaching or mentoring experience is desirable.
