Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer based to be based in our Warrington Office. This role will focus on providing support to process engineering projects and will ensure smooth and sustainable development of their accounts within the TUV Rheinland Group.

Job Description
* Leading and supporting process engineering projects, ranging from small scale calculations to large scale FEED & Detailed Design projects.
* Authoring, checking, and approving process engineering deliverables, ensuring they comply fully with recognized industry and internal engineering standards.
* Mentoring Graduate and Junior Engineers.
* Working alongside commercial personnel to create and submit proposals with accurate manhour estimates.
* Interaction with customers to ensure TUV deliver a solution on time and to high quality.
* Help TUV to develop their portfolio of offerings through development work – specifically targeting the Energy Transition and Net Zero.
* Collaborate and network with colleagues across TUV. Share best practice across different projects and disciplines.
* Delivering training courses to external client (e.g. Pressure Relief).
What we expect of you?
Essential:
* Degree qualified Process Engineer
* 8+ years of experience
* Experience in completing pressure relief calculations and using the following standards (or equivalent):
o API 521
o API 520 part 1
o API 520 part 2
o API 2000
* Experience of process system design:
* Hydraulic Calculations (Pump, control valve, line sizing etc)
* P&ID development
* Development of philosophy documentation
* Heat and mass balance calculations
* Process modelling and optimisation
* Proficiency in simulation software (e.g. Aspen Suite)
Desirable
* Chartered Chemical Engineer
* Professional consulting experience (or similar relevant experience of advising and delivering technical solutions to customers).
* Operational and design experience.
* Experience of working on an operating site.
* Experience of using PEL & CAPRE for process engineering calculations (TUV proprietary software).
* Energy Transition & Net Zero experience (CCUS, hydrogen, fuel switching etc).
* HAZOP, LOPA & SIL experience.
* Experience of designing discharge and disposal design systems on chemical plant.
Other:
* Full clean driving license.
* Willing to travel in the UK and abroad.
* Good IT proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
* Strong consultancy and communications skills
