Job Title: Lighting Control Systems Commissioning Engineer
Purpose of Job: To provide on-site assistance for commissioning lighting control systems, ensuring proper installation, functionality, and performance to meet customer requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, supporting clients, maintaining project records, and ensuring effective communication to facilitate successful project completion. The role aims to enhance customer satisfaction through high-quality service and system reliability.
Main Tasks:
1. Commission lighting control systems across the UK.
2. Advise customers on installation, connection, and fault finding.
3. Arrange site visits with relevant parties for commissioning and rectification.
4. Maintain project records and generate commissioning certificates.
5. Report product defects and performance issues, suggesting improvements.
6. Assist the Site Services Manager or Senior Engineer as delegated.
7. Organise daily on-site workload.
8. Provide training and support to junior engineers or new team members.
9. Ensure health and safety compliance during activities.
10. Conduct maintenance checks and preventive services.
11. Build strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
12. Possess strong technical knowledge in lighting control systems.
13. Experience in installing, commissioning, and maintaining lighting systems.
14. Plan effectively and stay calm under pressure.
15. Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
16. Be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office and technical programs.
17. Be flexible with working hours and willing to travel extensively across the UK.
18. Hold a valid driving license.
19. Electrical or electronic engineering certification is preferred.
20. Be familiar with industry standards and regulations related to lighting control systems.
