As a Care Advisor, you will be guiding caregivers through the challenges of their care journey. This role requires a blend of empathy, IT and problem-solving skills to provide practical and unbiased advice in making some of life’s most difficult decisions.
You will be offering personalised action plans and practical support to caregivers navigating complex care needs. After successful completion of our onboarding program, you will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to make a meaningful impact on caregivers and their families.
What the job involves:
* Manage individual caseloads, helping caregivers navigate complex problems and finding practical solutions.
* Delivering advice, information and support via phone, email and digital channels, aimed at helping caregivers and their families.
* Conducting introductory and support calls at pre-scheduled appointment times.
* Supporting care-related tasks, e.g.conducting care searches, navigating local authority services, and advising on funding and later-life benefits.
* Help users understand their entitlement to care-related benefits, eligibility criteria and provide assistance with applications.
* Maintain accurate record keeping of client interactions and ensure timely follow-ups.
* Participating in regular training and audits to keep updated on current legislation and regulations, to ensure delivery of high-quality service.
* Drive measurable success in user engagement and satisfaction while delivering positive outcomes for caregivers and their families.
What you'll bring:
* 2+ years experience in customer-facing roles within healthcare, social care, local authorities or a start-up environment.
* Passionate about engaging with people and providing empathetic support - our caregivers face challenging circumstances where you can positively influence their experiences through empathy and understanding.
* Excellent listening and questioning skills to enable users the opportunity to explain their problem(s), provide structured advice, while maintaining time-management of meetings.
* Experience with customer service tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zendesk, Intercom) or adaptability to new tools and technologies.
* Comfortable working in a varied and fast paced front-line environment.
* Some understanding of social care, welfare benefits and/or supporting vulnerable clients.
Location: London (Hybrid, Tuesdays & Thursdays in office). Our space has a gym, café, free coffee and snacks, showers, ping pong, and bright open areas for collaboration. Close to Shoreditch with plenty of local eateries. Access to 70+ locations across London and other UK cities.
Interview Process:
1. Please note, this will be an ongoing hire and we will review CVs as they come in to schedule interviews.
2. Screening call with Richa (our People and Talent lead) to understand your motivation to join KareHero and tell you about us (30 mins)
3. Take home task (this should not take longer than 1 hour)
4. Interview with the Hiring Manager to discuss the task and assess job-related skills (1 hour)
5. Culture interview and meeting other members of KareHero (30 mins)
