We are currently looking for an experiencedHR Advisor to join ourSpalding site.
As an HR Advisor at Gist, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the HR department at our Spalding site.
You will provide an effective advisory service to management and employees, assisting the Regional HR Manager in providing robust HR strategy and advice, focusing on engagement at all stages of the employee lifecycle.

Role details:
Salary: Circa £38,000 per annum
Hours:37.5 hours Per Week
Working pattern:Monday to Friday
Location:Spalding, PE11 3UG
What you’ll do:
Your key accountabilities will include:
9. Ensuring the operational success and development of the HR department, working closely alongside senior site management
10. Providing guidance on HR policies and processes
11. Heavy involvement in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues.
12. Providing an efficient internal customer service to managers and employees
13. Assist the HR Manager and General Manager in developing and driving the site people plans
14. Absence management
15. Delivery of induction training for new starters, consistently updating welcome pack information
16. Ensuring all elements of HR administration are carried out - e.g. starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks, etc
17. Assist with all aspects of recruitment and selection on site
18. Maintaining accurate and up-to date information on the HR system
19. Weekly/Monthly management reports
20. Responsibility for various ad-hoc HR and Administrative tasks
Who you are:
Your skills and experience will include:
21. Experience within a similar HR Advisory/Officer position
22. Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards
23. Previous experience within the FMCG, logistics and supply chain or retail sector would be highly desirable
24. Exposure to a unionised environment
25. Excellent relationship building skills
26. Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
27. Creative with the ability to make decisions and have confidence in your own convictions
