Job title: Head of Learning Products and Development
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid (Leicestershire), ideally 2-days per week on-site.
Start date: Can accommodate all notice periods.
The Role
This opportunity is to join a respected and forward-thinking organisation that is transforming its approach to professional learning.
As Head of Product Management & Development, you’ll take full ownership of a diverse portfolio of learning and development products, including digital courses, regulated qualifications, and bespoke client programmes. You’ll lead a team of product, business, and study centre managers to deliver innovation, efficiency, and learner impact across all formats.
You’ll also play a key role in shaping product strategy, spotting new business chances, and making sure that the organisation’s learning offer stays relevant, inclusive, and future-focused. From adopting emerging technologies and UX principles to analysing performance data and managing global learning products, this is a varied and influential leadership role with both strategic and practical aspects.

Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience leading product management or learning product development functions within an education, EdTech, professional body, or training environment.
* Strong understanding of learning design, UX/UI, and digital learning technologies (e.g. LMS platforms).
* Track record of developing commercially successful learning products across digital, blended and in-person formats.
* Experience managing and developing multidisciplinary teams.
* Analytical mindset with experience using data and performance insights to drive improvement.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence at senior level.
* Understanding of learning strategy, governance, and the wider education or qualifications landscape.
Nice to Have
* Experience within a regulated qualifications or accreditation environment (e.g. Ofqual, EQF).
* Familiarity with multi-language or global learning products.
* Knowledge of instructional design theory, accessibility standards, or learning analytics.
* Understanding of commercial learning portfolios and pricing strategies.
