Practice Manager
We are looking for a Practice Manager with a can‑do attitude, a passion for high‑standard pet care and client service, to lead our team across three locations (Saltcoats, Largs, Dundonald) in Ayrshire. The role is part of IVC Evidensia UK, which has a team of 40 staff.
Responsibilities
* Drive financial performance and conduct monthly payroll preparation.
* Manage holiday coverage, overtime, sick pay, and SSP payments.
* Oversee diary schedules and maintain health and safety standards.
* Ensure facilities and equipment are well‑maintained, arranging repairs and managing group debt protocols.
* Participate in annual pay review, staff cost budgeting and conduct appraisals and performance management for non‑clinical staff.
* Collaborate with the Operations team to plan and promote practice events, such as Pet Health Plans, career days, discounts and bundles.
* Handle client complaints and support overall client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong organisational and financial management skills.
* Experience managing health and safety, projects and accreditations.
* Excellent people and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise effectively and motivate a large team in a fast‑paced environment.
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for traveling between branches.
* Previous practice management experience in veterinary or related settings is highly desirable.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum plus benefits.
