Tree Tops Montessori Nursery is seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team.
The role of the Nursery Housekeeper is to support the safety and wellbeing of the children at all times by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery. This includes carrying out thorough daily cleaning of all areas within the premises.
Key responsibilities include:
* Hoovering
* Mopping
* Dusting and polishing
* Cleaning windows
* Cleaning toilets
* Cleaning kitchen areas, including sinks, microwaves, and the dishwasher
* Washing and managing children's laundry
* Preparing light snacks for the nursery children
* Distributing meals for the nursery children, ensuring they adhere to dietary requirements

The successful candidate will work efficiently, responsibly, and professionally at all times. As the role involves working alongside children for part of the day, the housekeeper must remain mindful and considerate of this environment. An up-to-date enhanced DBS check is required, along with a clear understanding of and commitment to Tree Tops' safeguarding policies.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
* COSHH training
* Chemical safety awareness
* Previous experience working in a nursery environment
Training can be provided for candidates who do not already hold the above qualifications.
