Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct high-quality assessments and recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions.
– Provide consultation, training, and modelling to educational and residential staff.
– Offer line management and clinical supervision to allocated Occupational Therapists.
– Participate in service and practice development, including chairing meetings and facilitating training sessions.
– Prepare and quality assure high-standard reports.
Essential Requirements:
– Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC.
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with children and young people.
– Experience supervising other Occupational Therapists.
– Car driver with access to own vehicle.
Desirable Attributes:
– Experience in educational or residential settings.
– Supervisor qualification.
– Specialised practice area.
