Location: South Hampshire, Southampton
Direct employed with Logic or via agency - £42,000 - £45,000 per annum (Van, fuel card & company benefits )
Monday to Friday
8am to 5pm, 8h paid, break unpaid
Type: Full-time term to perm
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fire Door Installer / Passive Fire Protection Operative to join our growing team in the Hampshire area. The successful candidate will have proven experience in fire door installation, remedial works, and fire stopping, with a strong understanding of compliance and safety standards.
This role requires a reliable, skilled professional who can work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship across various projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation of fire doors in line with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines
* Carrying out fire door remedial works and upgrades
* Installing door closers and associated ironmongery
* Completing fire stopping works as required
* Accurately completing job sheets and documentation
* Working safely and professionally on-site
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in fire door installation and remedial works
* Experience with fire stopping works
* Knowledge of door closers and fire-rated ironmongery
* Valid CSCS card
* Must have own van and tools
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Desirable Experience
* Experience working under BM TRADA standards
* Experience in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
* Experience working across multiple sites
