Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with clients to assist them with daily activities, implement care plans, and foster a positive environment that promotes independence and dignity.
Duties;
* Support clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication management.
* Implement care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
* Foster a supportive and friendly atmosphere that encourages client engagement and participation.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with clients and team members.
* Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping are necessary.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when needed.
* A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need.
