* Location: Portsmouth - PO1
* Annual Salary: £26,666.64
* Hours/Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 5pm-5am
What You'll Be Doing:
* Welcome and Assist: Greet residents and visitors warmly, making them feel at home. Handle queries and assist with maintenance requests.
* Problem-Solving: Address issues promptly, from maintenance to emergencies, and escalate concerns to the building manager as needed.
* Security: Conduct regular site walk-arounds, check IDs, and monitor CCTV to maintain building safety.
* Parcel Management: Handle and record deliveries for residents ensuring a smooth communication and pick up.
* Maintain Presentation: Keep the concierge area and lobby looking presentable, some basic cleaning tasks, bin moving, sweeping leaves from entrances and other ad hoc duties as required.
* Safety Checks: Looking out for H&S hazards on site patrol, all exits are clear and closed as well as anything else that may be out of place.
* Local Knowledge: Offer advice and recommendations about the local area to enhance residents’ experience.
What You'll Bring:
* Experience as a concierge is a plus, but a strong customer service or security background is equally valued.
* A hands on approach and attitude with the willingness to provide the best environment possible for our residents.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Health & safety qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
* A positive, can-do attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to handle responsibilities with care.
