InsurTech Sales / Account Management / London Market Insurance / £135,000 base plus bonus & benefits
Role Purpose
Leading InsurTech provider into the London Marker is looking for an Account Manager, to be part of the Sales & Business Development team — a dynamic, cross-functional group focused on driving revenue growth within our existing client base.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability and a strong understanding of revenue growth opportunities within (re)insurance companies, syndicates, or managing agencies. While teamwork is essential, the ability to take ownership of initiatives and independently drive projects to completion is equally important.
Candidates should have at least five years of experience in the commercial insurance market, excellent communication skills, and preferably a background in account management or sales.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and close opportunities within client organizations that can benefit from the company's products
* Build strong relationships across all levels, including C-suite executives
* Keep clients informed about developments in the company's product and service portfolio
* Act as the client’s advocate within the company
* Expand the company's footprint within existing accounts
Marketing & Sales Support
* Contribute to defining and implementing go-to-market strategies
* Own revenue and profitability targets as per agreed business cases
* Collaborate with the Head of Account Management to achieve objectives
Business Skills & Knowledge
* Grow revenue within client accounts while managing profitability and costs
* Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
* Experience in contract creation and negotiation
* Solid understanding of the company's products and services
* Insurance/reinsurance and London Market experience are a must
