What you will do
* Clinical Intervention: Deliver individualised Speech & Language Therapy interventions based on comprehensive clinical assessments.
* Collaborative Practice: Work closely with education and residential teams to develop therapeutic learning and living environments.
* Training & Development: Provide consultation, workshops, and training to staff to support communication needs across the setting.
* MDT Working: Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure integrated and effective therapeutic strategies.
* Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their professional development and enhancing team performance.
Qualifications / Requirements
* HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist.
* Proven experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including autism.
* Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills in speech, language, and communication.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
* Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff is desirable.
