SSQ is recruiting on behalf of a Global Charity who is looking for a Company Secretary in Corporate Services, which an instrumental role in the Charity Leadership Group.
The sucessful candidate will take accountability for the Charity's compliance with legal requirements and maintain a high standard of corporate governance, including internal audit, risk, data protection, whistleblowing, procurement, and insurance.
Details of this role include:
* Working closely with senior leadership team.
* Managing the board, 5 committees and two entities.
* Managing, arranging, and taking minutes on all meetings with help from the CSA.
* Focusing on governance and compliance across legal, secretariat, data protection, internal audit, risk, procurement, whistleblowing and health and safety.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Risk and DP experience (not expert, but an understanding).
* Organisation skills confident and able to push back on the board.
* A private or public sector background, but knowledge of a charity or the pace/minutes would be useful.
* Previous management experience, the ability to delegate etc.
