Clerk of Works (Building)
Venn Group is working with a growing NHS Trust to recruit a Clerk of Works to effectively support major projects across their sites
Salary: £51,500
Duration: 18 months
Hours: Monday to Friday
Location: London
The successful candidate will:
* Ensure that construction projects are thoroughly inspected to meet specific standards, quality and safety requirements
* Conduct regular site inspections on projects at varying stages, identifying defects
* Maintain accurate reports, provide detailed reports on issues and provide analysis on what corrective actions are required
* Communicate issues to stakeholders and advise on quality standards to be met
* Liaise between project teams, external contractor / consultants and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
* Inspect completed works, snag lists, and ensure that any outstanding issues are rectified before final project sign-off and handover
The successful candidate will have:
* Knowledge of HTMs and HBNs
* Relevant qualification in construction, building engineering, or related disciplines (e.g., HNC/HND in Construction)
* Previous experience with construction projects
* NHS or healthcare experience
