Pay Rate: £130 – £251+ per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a committed Alternative Provision Teacher to deliver English, Maths, and Science to students in Nottingham who may require a more personalised and supportive approach to learning. This role is ideal for a teacher who can inspire, motivate, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils outside mainstream education.
Job Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English, Maths, and Science tailored to individual learning needs.
* Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges in a nurturing way.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
* Track and assess progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and colleagues.
* Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes.
Alternative Provision Teacher Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in English, maths, and science.
* Experience working in alternative provision, PRU, or SEN or with vulnerable learners is desirable.
* Excellent communication, adaptability, and behaviour management skills.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
