The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, working closely with developers, architects, contractors, and private clients to deliver practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the design and delivery of residential and mixed-use projects
2. Managing multiple projects simultaneously
3. Producing and reviewing structural calculations, reports, and technical drawings
4. Attending client and design team meetings
5. Coordinating with architects, contractors, and external consultants
6. Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and technicians
7. Assisting with project planning and resource management
Project Portfolio
You'll gain exposure to a variety of schemes including:

Requirements
14. 5+ years' experience within a UK structural engineering consultancy
15. Strong technical design experience across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
16. Experience delivering residential-led projects
17. Ability to manage projects and liaise directly with clients
18. Excellent communication and organisational skills
19. Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous
