We procure and contractually manage all the Council's contracted passenger transport. If you have a proven track record of being very well organised, plus experience of working in a busy team environment and also work well independently, we would like to hear from you. About YouThe successful candidate will need to be proficient and accurate in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. We prepare and manage all contractual documentation for the transport provision we procure. All the contracted transport is managed by the team during its operational lifetime. We coordinate investigations and prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders as and when required. In addition to procuring contracted transport, we as a team deliver training to service areas within the Council on the various types of transport we can procure on their behalf, so the post holder will need to be confident at public speaking and be able to deliver training to large groups of people, in person or via TEAMS. We are seeking someone who can find solutions, work to tight deadlines and targets, and above all have a flexible approach. The role does require the postholder to accompany Transport Engineers to site inspections as and when required.
