Experience working with pre-five children in a relevant setting. - Knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence (Early Level) and Pre-Birth to Three guidance. - A flexible approach and the ability to adapt to change. Candidates must hold the NNEB (or modular equivalent), or HNC in Childhood Practice, or SVQ2 Social Services (Children and Young People) or SVQ3 in Social Services (Children and Young People). Successful candidates, if not already registered with SSSC as practitioners, will be required to gain this within 3 months of the date of your appointment. This post is considered a Regulated Role with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential.
