Job Overview
Fixed‑term Medical Advisor – UK & Ireland (12 months, starting July2026). Reports to the Medical Director, UK & Ireland. Location: United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage head‑office medical projects (advisory boards, symposia, regional meetings etc.) from inception to completion, ensuring on‑time delivery and budget compliance.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (global R&D, regulatory affairs, marketing) to support product launches and other initiatives.
* Ensure study proposals align with local, regional and global medical objectives and that execution is timely and legally compliant.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Maintain compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines and company policies; stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Author and review materials in accordance with ABPI, IPHA, EFPIA and Veeva system guidelines.
* Train and adhere to SOPs as indicated in the job’s SOP training matrix.
Qualifications
* Higher degree in life‑sciences (MSc, PhD) or a medical‑related degree (PharmD, MD) required.
* Minimum of 3years’ experience in field medical affairs with a proven track record of engaging external stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry.
Desirable Experience
* Experience in data collection and analysis, real‑world evidence, publications, project management and compliance‑related activities.
