Were not just looking for someone who knows their Thermopylae from their Thucydides, we want a teacher who can inspire, engage and guide learners through the wonders of Ancient History and Classical Civilisation. From planning epic lessons to supporting UCAS applications, youll be a key figure in shaping futures and unlocking the wisdom of the ages.
You will:
* Teach GCSE and A:Level Ancient History and Classical Civilisation
* Act as a personal tutor, offering 1:1 guidance and supporting learners through their academic journey
* Design schemes of work that would make Cicero proud
* Create engaging materials and planning trips
* Champion your subject at open days and college events
You will need:
* A degree:level qualification
* Level 5 teaching qualification (dont have? We can sponsor you as part of your professional development)
* Experience tutoring Level 3 learners and prepping them for Higher Education
* Excellent communication, time management and a collaborative spirit
* A commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusion
