Edinburgh Fitness & Wellbeing – Physiotherapy (Part Time)
Location: Edinburgh. Position: Senior Physiotherapist. Hours: 22.5 per week. Salary: Up to £43,000 pro rata per annum, depending on experience.
Qualifications
Valid Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration and active CPD portfolio focusing on musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries. Excellent manual therapy skills, strong computer proficiency, confident communicator.
Responsibilities
* Undertake assessments in patients presenting with complex musculoskeletal conditions and conditions masquerading as musculoskeletal pathology.
* Appropriately identify patients requiring onward referral to advanced level physiotherapists, consultants or other healthcare consultants, including internal escalation pathways for serious pathology.
* Provide treatment underpinned by extensive clinical knowledge and skills to deliver high quality patient outcomes.
* Maintain relevant clinical skills and provide ongoing evidence of personal CPD and professional registration.
* Manage a complex face‑to‑face and remote service caseload effectively, ensuring appropriate discharge on systems.
* Support colleagues and less experienced staff, including administration staff and physiotherapy assistants, to enhance clinical outcomes and patient experience.
