Location: Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, DA6 7AT

Contract Duration: 4+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £28.41 per hour

Job Requirements
* Build and maintain positive, supportive, and respectful relationships with families.
* Support children in need of help or protection within their family network whenever possible.
* Develop and implement alternative plans to ensure children grow up in safe, nurturing, and happy homes when family network support is insufficient.
* Work within a supported practice environment that encourages the use of professional judgment, autonomy, and expertise.
* Apply the Signs of Safety practice model in collaboration with children, families, and the wider professional network.
* Communicate proficiently in English to influence and coordinate services effectively.
Person Specification
* Proven experience in building supportive relationships with families.
* Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with a professional network.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Demonstrated capability to use professional judgment and autonomy in practice.
* Experience with the Signs of Safety practice model is desirable.
* Commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
